Welcome to Community Waste Network East’s directory of community waste groups and their partners as well as other key contacts throughout the region. The directory  will be regularly up-dated to reflect any changes in details over time.  As we put the directory together over the past few months we were impressed by the range, quality and determination of the groups listed. Community waste groups deliver so many economic and social benefits as well as environmental awareness and services to their communities. The regional network has had a number of major achievements including: • Writing and distributing the Corrner monthly e-bulletin • Becoming a CIWM registered  training centre to deliver the waste awareness certificate • Providing business support to over 20 organisations throughout the Eastern Region • Running the regional Resource Saver project to help businesses reduce their waste and help the community sector. • Delivering 5 training events for community organisations and local authorities Our work continues in supporting these excellent projects and quantifying the results they achieve.
