Welcome to Community Waste Network East’s first directory of community waste groups and their partners as well as other key contacts throughout the region. This will be regularly up-dated to reflect any changes in details over time.  As we put the directory together over the past few months we were impressed by the range, quality and determination of the groups listed. Community waste groups deliver so many economic and social benefits as well as environmental awareness and services to their communities. In the past year the regional and county networks have had a number of major achievements including: • Corrner monthly e-bulletin • Becoming a CIWM registered  training centre to deliver the waste awareness certificate. We have 8 trainers who can deliver this training to the community, business and public sectors. •Managing the Resource Saver programme to match hundred of businesses and their waste with the community sector • Delivering training events for community organisations and local authorities Our work continues in supporting these excellent projects and quantifying the results they achieve.
