| The Regional Electronics Initiative (REI) is a network of social enterprises across Yorkshire & the Humber involved in computer reuse. REI members provide high quality, used IT equipment to individuals and organisations which find it hard to afford new items. IT reuse organisations play a key role in providing social support and diverting hazardous items from the tip. Second Byte IT is a member of the REI, collecting equipment from businesses in the North and NE Lincs areas, south of the Humber. Its work allows long-term unemployed and socially excluded individuals to gain work experience and receive accredited training in very marketable skills. Collects redundant IT equipment from organisations and the public throughout the region and refurbishes it to high standard for donation to schools, charities, voluntary and community groups and other worthwhile causes. Collects IT equipment from N & NE Lincs to refurbish & reuse. Education & awareness Artlandish Ltd Community Arts Group working throughout NE Lincs with all ages from 5 years upwards on a wide range of creative projects. Raises awareness in both the community and schools. Collect paper, cans and plastic from schools for recycling.
