are case sensitive so if they are given to you in lower case form they
must be typed in exactly the same way.
These details will have been sent to each organisation. Please contact

Successful completion of the password details form will take you to
the data entry page. On this page you will see a large table on the
right hand side of the page in which to enter your data.
Data Entry OUT
At the top of the Data Entry OUT table is a category called 'Material'
you will see a list of materials on the right hand side of this heading.
To choose the type of material that you wish to record from this list
for example: green waste or mobile phone batteries etc...Select the
material by clicking on it - it will go blue. To change your mind and
select another material just click on a different material.
The
materials are grouped under headings to make it easy to locate the material
you require. You can select the headings as well if that best describes
your material.
The list will be reviewed periodically and will make additions to the
list if appropriate. This list relates to the European Waste Classification
list.
You can scroll up and down the list using your mouse (To scroll up and
down drag your mouse on to the grey bar to the right of the box with
upward and downward pointing arrows. Hold down the left hand button
on your mouse and drag the bar up or down depending on which way you
wish to go).
If you cannot find the material you wish to record on the list then
please select the catagory 'other' and put a brief description of it
in reference box 1. Each time you record this 'other' material (not
included in the materials list) make sure you always use the same reference
box then you will be able to pull out statistics about this material.
You must select a material and enter either number of items
, volume or weight collected for your data entry to be accepted.
These are marked with and asterix.
You must enter details for one of either number of items , volume or
weight but if you have details of another for example both the volume
and the weight please could you enter both. If we have both these details
we can use them to calculate material densities and item:weight ratios.
Period Start/End
This relates to the time period over which the material was collected.
The date automatically defaults to today's date but it can be changed.
To change the date select the month, date and year by using the boxes
indicated by a downward facing arrow on the right hand side of each
box.
Reference 1,2,3
The reference boxes are there for you to fill in any additional details
that you would like to record about the material (for example: the number
of the round on which the material was collected, the area it was collected
in).
You can fill in all three of the reference boxes or leave them all blank
they are not mandatory.
Destination
The destination
box refers to the destination of the material
being produced. For example...Hillfield school or Patchway civic amenity
site.
If you have already added a destination
name to the table it will appear in the drop down
list when you click on the downward facing arrow on the right hand side
of the destination box.
To select the relevant material destination,
click on the name on the drop down menu, it will go blue, click again
and it will appear in the material destination box.
If you have not previously entered the name of any of your material
destination or you wish to add a new material destination to your list
click on the heading destination management on the left hand side of
the page.
