The main emphasis of our work
over the ‘setting up’ phase has been to find out about the community waste
sector in the region. We have worked hard to contact all networks, groups
and projects operating in the region to achieve an ‘inclusive’ launch
for the programme on the Stakeholder Day.
The North West regional stakeholder
day took place on 26 April in Preston. The Community Waste Sector attended
in force, with 58 participants representing almost as many organisations
right across the region!
