A charity involved in recycling & education in Halton. Organisation is setting up a ” horse & cart” recycling/education project in the borough collecting recyclables from an area within the borough. Provides education by visiting schools and other communities using the horse and cart to advertise. Young vulnerable/disadvantaged youngsters are involved in the project.

Christian Concern Crewe works in central and East Cheshire and collects, restores and redistributes items of furniture donated by folk who have no further need of it. These are then passed on to needy people in the community, referred by professionals from other services. At the same time, training opportunities and supported employment are offered to young people and adults who would otherwise be difficult to place, including some with special needs. The vision is to support the poor and marginalised in order to restore their self worth and encourage them to believe they can make a positive contribution to their community.
