The programme promotes waste awareness to schools and community groups across the county using a team of specially trained officers. Since June 2002 the team has visited over 80% of the schools in the county and over 250 community groups.

Community Computers are a Microsoft Authorised Refurbisher (MAR) that recycles computer equipment donated by the private and business sector. They then make it available for anyone who is on state benefit or disabled, students, youth clubs, schools, playgroups as well as charities and other non-profit organisations.

TRUCE collect, clean and resell quality wood from domestic and commercial sources. Timber is denailed, cleaned and graded. They also make the wood into various high quality products using lean manufacturing techniques, so that re-usable timber does not go into landfill.
