Southwark's Dream Team

Veolia has partnered with London Remade Solutions in its Southwark 25 year PFI waste management preferred bid.

Veolia will be providing residents of the borough with an integrated waste management solution as part of Southwark's aim of achieving a 50 percent recycling and composting rate by 2020.   Subject to final negotiations, the consultancy arm of London Remade will deliver all communication and education campaigns for Southwark from autumn 2007, and will provide technical guidance to Veolia throughout the first five years of the contract.   The group will assist Veolia in designing new recycling services for all houses and flats, and will run a state of the art education centre for the community.

UK and Northern Europe Chief Executive of Veolia Environmental Services, Cyrille du Peloux, said: "Working in partnership with London Remade Solutions will give us the benefit of its local knowledge and technical expertise to help us assist Southwark in reaching its long-term recycling and composting aim."
