New Smurfit Kappa Operations Manager

Gary Grant has been promoted to the role of Operations Manager at Smurfit Kappa Recycling. This will give him overall responsibility for operations in the company's national paper and board recycling collection business.

As well as manufacturing containers, cartons and other packaging, the Smurfit Kappa Group is one of Europe's leading collectors of waste paper for recycling and uses much of the material collected to produce paper and paperboard in its mills.

In his previous role as Regional Manager for Smurfit Kappa Recycling in Scotland, Gary was involved in the plan to invest £100,000 to modernise the Glasgow plant. He also helped to create all-important new jobs with a recruitment drive.
