New PaperChain Website

PaperChain has overhauled its website, to allow better access for people who are interested in the recovered paper industry.

The new website includes up-to-date information on the industry. There are press releases, information fact sheets, publications and links to other useful websites. The site also holds details of PaperChain's upcoming events, such as exhibition appearances and its 'Local Authority and Reprocessors Round Table'.

PaperChain hopes that the new website will aid its ongoing campaign to encourage positive recovery methods that support the long-term sustainability of the paper and cardboard recycling industry. PaperChain members used around 3.2 million tonnes of recovered paper and board in 2007, representing 78 per cent of recovered paper and board used in the UK and 4.1 million tonnes of CO2 savings against disposal.
