Re-designed rocket to launch at RWM '08

Accelerated Compost Ltd (ACL) has recently completed a re-design of the Rocket Composter, which it will display at the Recycling and Waste Management Exhibition (RWM '08) in Birmingham.

The re-designed Rocket is alleged to use around 20 per cent less raw material than the original design, an achievement that enhances its sustainability and helps to keep costs down for the end-user.

Simon Webb, Managing Director of ACL, commented that the new machine will minimise the quantity and price of raw material while improving the integrity of the composting process.

The Rocket is meant to provide small-scale industrial and commercial applications with a disposal solution to the problem of food and organic waste, including cooked and uncooked meat and fish, by transforming it into a high-grade composted product within 14 days.

The new Rocket Composter is currently on show at the Urban Gardening exhibition at URBIS Manchester until September when it will be transferred to the RWM.
