LINPAC receive award for new bin

LINPAC Environmental's TwinBin has won the Plastics Industry Award for the Best Industrial Product of 2008.The award was announced at the Park Lane Hilton in London at the annual award ceremony for the polymer industry.

TwinBin is a single compact and robust unit compromised of two 85-litre liners that can be used for a combination of litter and recycling collection. The design provides a unique solution to the growing need to handle separate recyclable items like plastic bottles and newspapers.

Simon Knight, General Manager for LINPAC Environmental, said: "We are particularly excited by the TwinBin product as it ties in so neatly with DEFRA's 'Recycling on the Go' initiative. This recently-announced government project is focusing on increasing the amount of street litter that is recycled."
