Welcome to the CORCA online manual.

CORCA (Commercial & Office Resources Collection Alliance) has been devised and put together by the Community Recycling Network UK, funded through the WRAP and REalliance Third Sector Capacity Building Programme.

The Manual has been produced to provide guidance to community recycling, re-use and composting groups looking to develop their capacity by working with businesses. Its focus is not just on office waste but resources from all sectors of business.

It builds on the work undertaken by WRAP on the SME recycling trials which many community sector organisations were involved in. Whilst the WRAP document focused mainly on office waste from SME's this document looks at the range of opportunities open to the community resource sector.

This manual also looks at relatively new or emerging opportunities, different approaches and services for community groups to explore including food waste composting and re-use.
