Frequently Asked Questions

Can you put a link from the CRN UK website to our website?

The CRN is a membership organisation supporting not-for-profit and community groups involved in recycling, re-use or waste minimisation projects.

One of the benefits of membership is being listed on our website.

Unfortunately we are not able to list any other organisation unless they provide direct support or services to our members.

Can I advertise a job vacancy on the CRN UK website?

Yes, Full and Associate CRN UK members can advertise their vacancies free of charge on the CRN UK website.

We are able to advertise other vacancies relating to the community waste sector on the CRN website.

Please send details of any jobs to be advertised with plenty of notice. It is not always possible to put the adverts up immediately.

We do not generally email notices of vacancies across the network.

Can you tell me about local authorities and recycling?

Although many of our Associate Members are local authorities we are unable to hold detailed information on them.

If you have any enquiries regarding local authorities recycling please contact the Local Authority Recycling Advisory Committee. www.larac.org.uk.

It depends which local authority area you are in but most of the time if you need a new or replacement recycling box the first port of call should be your  recycling officer at your local authority. Contact details for your local authority can normally be found in your Yellow Pages.

Alternatively visit www.recyclenow.com and enter your postcode to find your Local Authority contact.
